Talley Communications Corp Launches CAxT Brand of Cable Assemblies

SANTA FE SPRINGS, CALIF. (March 16, 2007) –Talley Communications Corp. announces the launch of CAxT, Cable Assemblies by Talley. CAxT is an ISO approved manufacturer of cable assemblies and also produces custom kits for wireless technology deployments.

 The CAxT brand of cable assemblies and kits will support a wide variety of applications such as tower top and shelter jumpers, microwave feeder lines and external antenna connections. CAxT builds and certifies in-building plenum and fire retardant assemblies. Their custom cable assembly manufacturing will also support a wide variety of OEM applications including assemblies for board level, cabinet level and test fixtures.

From their manufacturing facility in Los Angeles, California, CAxT will offer a wide variety of test services to include sweep tests, Hi-pot/continuity testing, stress screening and TDR electrical testing.

“CAxT actually has more than five years of history producing cable assemblies and kits through Talley. The assembly department was born from overwhelming customer requests,” said Hal Wooden, Vice President Talley Communications. “CAxT will ship its one-millionth cable assembly in 2007, so you can see we have been at this for a while.”

Of the thousands of cables built weekly a percentage of daily capacity is reserved for immediate will call and emergency orders. More than 80% of orders are shipped out within 2 to 5 business days unless requested otherwise. This agility is largely due to the strength of the partners aligned with CAxT. These partners include Andrew Corp., Belden, Times Microwave and RF Industries.

Most of the US is covered with in-territory sales representatives from Talley and the intent is to have nationwide coverage by year-end through the use of Manufacturers Representatives. CAxT is also evaluating additional distribution partners into Canada and Mexico.
